when we talk about the quantity of something, we use few , little, many, much , a lot of and lots of.
we use these determiners with countable and uncountable nouns.
1. countable nouns
we use:
- many
- a lot of
-lots of
-few
- a few
2. uncountable nouns
we use
- much
- a lot of
-lots of
-little
- a little
here are some examples
only a few people came to her birthday party.
there is only a little water left.
I want a little bit of chocolate.
